Getting released is step one. The case is still active. Here's how to keep it on the rails — and who to call if something goes sideways.
Every Wednesday, you are responsible for calling our office for a quick check-in. Text first, call if no response. Five minutes — confirm you're still at the same address, still at the same job, still on track for your court date.
It's not surveillance. It's a sanity check. If something's gone wrong — lost a job, moved, can't make a payment — we'd rather know now than find out at your court date.
Lori handles check-ins. She's reachable Mon–Sun, 8 AM to 7 PM, at (210) 740-7541.
After hours? (830) 837-0087 — Mark answers nights.
Don't disappear. Don't ignore it. Don't hope it goes away. It won't.
Call Lori before the court date. Not the day of — earlier if you can.
Most missed-court situations can be reset if we have notice. We can sometimes coordinate with your attorney for a continuance. We can almost always help.
Call: (210) 740-7541
Call us immediately. A failure-to-appear warrant has been issued. The bond is at risk.
If you turn yourself in within 48 hours and we can get you back to court, we can usually resolve the situation without forfeiture.
Call Mark: (830) 837-0087
If the defendant is re-arrested while out on our bond, call us right away. The original bond may be revoked. We need to know fast.
Job loss, medical bills, whatever — call Lori. Tell her what's happening. We can almost always restructure a payment plan if we know in advance.
Tell us. It's in your bond agreement. Both the cosigner and defendant need to keep us up to date.
Once the case is fully closed (acquittal, dismissal, or sentence completed), collateral is returned. Call our office to start the release.
No. The bail bond fee is non-refundable, even if charges are dropped. More on that here.
Just call. (210) 740-7541 for daytime stuff, (830) 837-0087 for everything else.
